android - Encryption feature of ICS not working on emulator -


i'm trying test encryption feature of ics on emulator.

to enable "encrypt phone", ran "telnet localhost 5554" , "power capacity 100".

after when click on "encrypt phone: button of final confirmation screen having "android" icon on nothing happens. checked logcat gives following error. 06-05 18:08:49.760: e/cryptfs(31): cannot size of block device

any appreciated.

i can confirm encryption feature doesn't run on emulator. if want test feature without using physical phone/tablet, can work buildroid (android port virtualbox) supports feature : buildroid blog
