ruby - bash issue installing rvm on ubuntu 12.04 LTS -


i new linux , having trouble installing rvm. https://rvm.io/rvm/install/, run

$ curl -l get.rvm.io | bash -s stable --ruby

in terminal. receive following error:

bash: line 359: /usr/share/ruby-rvm/release: permission denied

i don't know file line 359 refers to. going on here? in advance.

you using rvm settings broken ubuntu, package not mainatined, please use instruction fix: installed ruby 1.9.3 rvm command line doesn't show ruby -v
