php - Joomla menu issue to show current item -


i have 2 different menus in joomla site. 1 top menu menu items (home, portfolio, contact etc) , 2nd left menu menu items (p1, p2, p3 etc). created different menus both top menu , left menu. want when select "portfolio" top menu should displayed current item , "p1" (from left menu) should current. also, in same way when select of menu item left menu portfolio must remain selected (current).

this can done using menu aliases.

in second menu, change each of menu item's type alias. doing give option of selecting menu item main menu. select corresponding main menu item , save.

now when click menu item in either menu, corresponding item in other menu active along 1 clicked on.
