i got following warning & error chrome browser while trying access webpage via https.

warning: page @ about:blank displayed insecure content http://subdomain.name.dns-stuff.com/go.php?sid=mix.

error: failed load resource: server responded status of 404 (not found)

should start worrying? how can find insecure content comes from?

update: malicious iframe can source in content web pages attempt fingerprint , exploit browser vulnerability or client/os vulnerability cause drive-by-download. such iframes typically invisible users.

after contacting hosting provider of mine managed find webpage infected. part of jquery.js infected.

lessons learned.

  1. never download jquery libraries (or anything) place of web, except official ones.
  2. keep latest versions via links official sites.
