cygwin screen PTY error -


after recent cygwin update, following error while starting screen no more ptys sorry, not find pty [screen terminating]

what error mean? how solve this? searched google, ppl suggesting chmod 666 on /dev/ptmx , /dev/pty* files. changed them $ ls -l /dev/ptmx crw-rw-rw- 1 satram domain users 5, 2 jun 5 13:40 /dev/ptmx doesn't solve problem. why error happens , how solve it?
