Android: new activity is created after returning from camera instead of returning to previous activity -


i have activity can press button , choose between selecting picture gallery , taking new picture. when selecting picture gallery fine , image shown in activity a. if want take new picture, camera app opened, can take picture , save it. , strange thing happens: instead of returning previous activity choose take picture, new instance of activity (a') created , launched. don't know why doesn't return activity a... possible activity got timeout , that's why new instance created? or other ideas why new instance created?
