javascript - Memory issue in high resolution image loading -


i have image gallery application. when user click thumbnail of gallery image show actual high resolution image (nearly 2000x1500). faster viewing have added pre-loading of images.the main problem noticed in application is

the memory utilization increases substantially in ie8 when viewing actual high resolution images. have tested jquery lightbox plugin in ie8. still issue light box too.. how can resolve issue? it general issue of ie8 ? if there solution available please share me !

if image format bmp or png convert jpg beacause bmp , png image size bigger jpg. suggest use jpg image
