Best way to support users sending profile pictures from mobile devices in a rails 3.0 app? -

we using carrierwave in rails 3 app , works great! however, on our mobile site button select file grayed out. i've read iphone not grant access files browser. picup option iphone? great if there solution worked android , other devices well.

i realize many (most?) mobile devices not give access files. trying find effective way email images.

iphone doesn't support uploading files mobile safari.

check a html5 web app mobile safari upload images photos.app? possible solutions.
