how to check user's folder permissions in classic asp -


is there way check if particular windows user has access specific directory on network share?

or there way capture windows "access denied" error displays when user clicks directory don't have access to?

if asp classic code trying write or modify file within folder iis user account not have access produce 500 page error.

you can setup custom error page capture 500 errors. once captured can display friendly error, log action, etc
