i having issues dokuwiki in terms of content modification automatiozation. need update page programmatically, in case data source text file, regex parsed , output inserted dokuwiki page.

up moment, have not found related feature, doubt 1 having need such stuff, invetning bycicle again not best way here :)

my sub-question - how can use content modifications? had mo time go through whole dokuwiki source code, hoping there lego blocks attach make happen w/o developing new interfaces etc.

you have 3 options here:

  1. modify page contents on disk direcly. pages in data/pagename.txt raw text files. not have revision history way
  2. use xmlrpc api access , update pages. see http://www.dokuwiki.org/devel:xmlrpc
  3. use dwpage command line tool checkout, modify, checkin pagedata again. see http://www.dokuwiki.org/cli#dwpagephp
