Magento final price from web service -


because of mage price calculation complexity + epr incompatibility mage calculation, thinking overriding getprice() , getfinalprice() methods in way, call external webservice requested price. tried solve price calculation in suggested way , if, work in real environment?

second option reverse engineer price engine erp in mage database (additinal tables + logic inside mage).

what tink? advice welcome.

i had similar problem complex pricing issues. ended adding custom attribute fields dynamically chosen on customer number.

could give me background on problem?
