c# - DateTime.Now causes IO blocking? -


on conference told me datetime.now causes io blocking, have never stopped consider. if does, why?

nobody far has answered current time coming from. i'm not date latest pc architecture. few years ago, real-time clock part of chip outside of cpu (south bridge). time, had i/o operations chip. (it's not disk access still i/o operation.)

and since current process has wait answer clock, it's blocking i/o.

so person on conference right.
