Custom number format in Excel -


not sure if possible, haven't been able figure out myself trying here.

i want type in 4 numbers cell, have them formatted this:

1012 -> 1 / 0 / 1 / 2

i know typing cell , reading nth value it, i'd avoid since confusing person entering data.

possible?

if there 4 digits can use custom format this

0"/"0"/"0"/"0

to apply that, select cell range right-click > format cells > number > custom , type above in box provided > ok
