Can't see Database Objects -> SQL Server Projects in Visual Studio when attempting to create CLR function -


i need create clr function (in c#) support business needs. i've got code ready. that's needed create server project in visual studio, add code in , compile it. having trouble. stated in title, unable see database objects option when go create new project. seeing bi projects , other project types -> vs solutions.

here have installed on my workstation:

  • sql server 2005 workstations components (can't install full server - licensing restriction).
  • sql server 2012 express

microsoft don't make things easy developers. know how can sql server projects option show in visual studio?

have figured out. needed install full version of visual studio in order have option.
