Error in an android project -


i made temperature converter application, , code perfect. whenever run avd shows following errors:

[2012-06-05 12:22:58 - emulator] failed allocate memory: 1455 [2012-06-05 12:22:58 - emulator]  [2012-06-05 12:22:58 - emulator] application has requested runtime terminate in unusual way. [2012-06-05 12:22:58 - emulator] please contact application's support team more information.

solution 1:

i have best , right solution proved according indications calvin in techarena forums.

  • click start, click run, type sysdm.cpl in open box, , press enter.
  • click advanced tab, , under performance click settings.
  • click advanced tab, , under virtual memory click change.
  • under drive [volume label], click drive contains paging file want change.
  • under paging file size selected drive, click custom size, type new paging file size in megabytes (mb) in initial size (mb) or maximum size (mb) box, , click set.
  • click ok close dialog box , apply changes.

this usual error "failed allocate memory: 1455" caused virtual memory alocation. after resolving in way allocation of virtual memory root c disk, should read in console of eclipse, following:

solution 2:

open android virtual device manager , add or change value device ram size 15 or value smaller or higher:
