asp.net - Sitecore default language for creating items -


how change default language new items in sitecore? changing <setting name="defaultlanguage" value="fr" /> didn't work far sitecore still adding item "en" default version.

this seems bit simplistic of answer, think isn't global setting more flexible , user-centric. believe sitecore add new items based on current language version you're using. example, if you're looking @ french version of item. next time create item... of type, it's going create french version of item.

also, when said default language, i'm assuming you're talking default language setting. can specify language setting in site declaration well.. if helps.
