how to properly register a registry key on windows server? -


hello explain problem. during installation try register new registry key in following path:

hkey_local_machine \ software \ mykey

but once analyze result, key here!

hkey_local_machine \ wow6432node \ software \ mykey

why? not understand .. thank in advance answer ^ ^

the cases happens have seen is, when added application build specific architecture. (e.g. 32bit, while os 64bit)

how adding file?
