i trying display latest post outside of wordpress json , jquery

i followed steps given in blog post. not working me. here blog post link

i tried here not working

it shows uncaught syntaxerror: *unexpected token < blog.rangde.org/api/get_recent_posts/?count=1&page=0&callback=jquery17206551494831219316_1338883023819&_=1338883023833:3*

the example in link posted not cross-site request. may running problems because of that. have use jsonp cross-site requests jquery ajax. set crossdomain = true.

also may have better luck using curl , simplexml , getting rss feed.
